10-bit input sampling makes a visible difference
The VAC-23SHU3 converts either HDMI 2.0 or 3G SDI input to USB 3.0 high quality output. HDMI and SDI inputs have active loop-throughs allowing the original full-quality source to be routed to monitors or other equipment. Common applications include live screen capture, video conferencing and other PC-based applications. Power is supplied by the USB connection to the host computer reducing clutter and eliminating the need for an external power supply. The rugged and compact design makes for easy portability.

The VAC-23SHU3's simple plug-and-play design uses UVC protocol to present itself as a Camera Device. UVC protocol allows the host computer to set the parameters for the USB stream such as resolution, frame rate and aspect ratio.
