The DDA Profile 56 studio mixing console is the top-of-the-line model of the British brand known for the DMR and top of the line Profile series console design by David Dearden and associates (made in Kidderminster, UK).

The aesthetic and technical condition is excellent (10/10) without the slightest trace or wear mark. This is due to the precautions of successive users and the very moderate use of the console over the years with good storage (excluding dust). The console has remained 100% original and unmodified since its production output from DDA in Kidderminster, UK.

The light grey and blue surface is very user friendly with a classic layout (any engineer will feel at home in less than 15 minutes) clear reading even in low studio light.

The sound is very smooth, natural, with plenty of headroom and console remains very quiet even with large 56 channels count all in action. The patchbay enables pretty advanced signal processing with a dedicated of outoard gear in order to achieve the desired results.

DDA Profile is a 56 channel compact Split / Line mixer. First 32 modules have mic line & line inputs with 4 band fully parametric EQ with a variable high pass filter plus routing to 24 sub group busses ( 24 group outputs plus 32 directs outputs ).

The next 24 channels are Group / Monitor modules with an additional line inputs allowing the 24 group/monitor modules to be used as additional inputs during mix. This is the unusual bit : each group module has the same 4 band parametric EQ and full routing that is found on the mic/line modules allowing the group modules to be routed to other groups as well as the stereo bus.

The aux sends are very versatile, there are 4 mono aux sends to 6 aux busses plus 2 stereo aux sends from ALL modules - total 10 aux busses. There is a switch that allows the engineer to use the aux 1 pot to control the Direct Output level, another changes the 3rd & 4th aux send from the 3rd & 4th bus and puts them onto the 5th & 6th aux bus. Aux sends 1-6 and aux A can be switched in pairs between pre & post fader, also aux A ( the first stereo aux ) can be used as an effects return. This is a very versatile mixer with unique features
