The Nova ELC 26 is built with 2 × 6½” mid/bass drivers and 1 × 1″ HF driver per cabinet.
All drivers have been upgraded to BMS units. The upgrade was done to achieve better sound quality and higher output. During the driver replacement, the speakers were also converted to an active crossover configuration, allowing more precise tuning of the system.
Driver configuration:
All 32 midrange drivers replaced with BMS 6S117 (8 ohm)
All 16 HF drivers replaced with BMS 4552 (16 ohm)
New phase plugs were also manufactured for the midrange drivers.
The cabinets are configured as 2-way active. Each cabinet is 16 ohms, which allows you to run 8 + 8 cabinets on a 4-channel amplifier. In our company we have been running them with Lab Gruppen PLM 12K44 amplifiers, and a Lake preset for the speakers is included.
These are extremely good-sounding speakers, offering a lot of performance for the price.
Price includes: 16 speakers – 4 flight cases – 2 flying frames
