The Mackie 3204VLZ4 is a 32-channel 4-Bus Mixer perfect for live sound or recording use. Low noise-floor and high headroom is a signature of Mackie’s sound, and the 3204VLZ4 continues this tradition, building on the universal success of the hugely popular VLZ3 range whilst adding new features.
The VLZ4 range has updated mic preamps in the form of 28 Onyx units previously only found on Mackie’s high-end mixers. These quality pres deliver 60dBs of gain, with an extended frequency response and incredibly low distortion, which translates any source material from any mic perfectly.
Each mono channel also has a high-headroom line input, a three-band sweepable midrange EQ, level, pan, solo and overload/mute LEDs as well as an 18dB/oct highpass filter on each mic input. For additional tone-shaping channels 25-28 feature dedicated compression, and there are dual 32-bit RMFX processors with reverbs, choruses and tap delays that are ideal for the gigging engineer.
Also on-board is a 4x2 24-bit USB interface which allows you to stream either the master output or a subgroup to a computer for recording. You can also use your plug-ins live via auxes 5/6 and use the system as a stereo return to mains for playback or to a channel to access the EQ and auxes.
The 28 mono channels, two stereo channels and four subgroups are combined with six aux sends with inserts, pre/post fader and internal/external FX send options for the ultimate in flexibility. Topped off with 60mm log-taper faders, sealed rotary controls, high-res 12 segment meters and an incredibly rugged steel chassis, the Mackie 3204VLZ4 is gig and tour ready straight out of the box.
